National Mourning

Spain has decreed 10 days of national mourning starting today, 27th May, for all the people that have died during the last few months because of coronavirus. Now, it is time to remember them, cry for them and also honour them. We join this mouning and we want to share the virtual goodbye wall RTVE (Radio Televisión Española) has created. This is a space where anyone who has lost a loved one because of this disease and could not say farewell because of all the restrictions we faced can now say goodbye publicly. Pain does not speak an specific language, but this is how it is written in Spanish: Farewells by a pandemic.

Luto nacional

España está desde hoy miércoles 27 de mayo, y durante los próximos diez días, de luto nacional por todas las víctimas mortales del coronavirus que ha tenido el país. Es tiempo de recordarlas, llorarlas y rendirles homenaje. Nos sumamos a ello, y compartimos aquí el muro de despedidas virtual montado por RTVE (Radio Televisión Española) como espacio para que las personas que hubieran perdido a un ser querido durante la pandemia y no hubieran podido despedirse de ellas debido a las restricciones que se establecieron, pudieran hacerlo de forma pública. El dolor no tiene idioma, pero el dolor en español se escribe así: Despedidas por una pandemia.
